Rules for Magazine Layouting

Berkat ikut pelatihan jurnalistik yang diadain senior-senior di Progresif, gw dapet ilmu baru tentang gimana mbikin layout majalah yg baik itu. Nah disini gw mau share apa yang gw dapet.

Jadi aturan ngelayout itu:

• Sebaiknya jangan kebanyakan masukin font,
• Cocokkan font dengan isi tulisannya,
• Warna yang digunakan jangan kebanyakan,  gunakan warna-warna secukupnya yang match dan enak dipandang,
• Ukuran font disesuaikan,
• Pinter-pinterlah milih paduan warna,
• Buatlah layout yang ga bikin orang yg mbaca capek liatnya, jangan keramean hiasan sono sini,
• Bila ada gambar/foto. Dibikin prioritas. Tonjolkan gambar yang penting (digedein) sedangkan gambar2 ‘sampingan’ ya lebih kecil,
• Warna huruf jgn jadi g kbaca gara2 layoutnya! Kita bukan mau pamer layout, majalah itu perlu dibaca tulisannya,
• Jangan sampe bikin isi tulisannya mati,
• Maknai warna sesuai isi tulisan. Contohnya kalo isi tulisan tentang bencana, ya jangan pake warna-warna ceria yang terang dan lucu-lucu gitu. Ga pas dong,
• Pelajari layout majalah-majalah,
• Pertimbangkan hasil cetaknya nanti. Bisa dites print sendiri dulu,
• Serasikan warna dalam satu majalah. Jangan tiba-tiba di suatu halaman warnanya hijau kalem tiba-tiba pas mbuka halaman berikutnya malah warna pink nyolok mata. Ga enak bgt, ngagetin yg mbaca,
• Berikan ciri khas pada majalah,
• Lihatlah pameran-pameran seni rupa untuk belajar tentang pilihan warna yang bagus digunakan untuk suatu layout.

Semua yang di atas ini gampang diketikin, tapi susah ngejalaninnya. Gw blum fasih ngelayout. Ya post-an ini juga buat belajar gw sendiri. *Baru ngarti designing 1,5 taon

Gw langsung suka lagu ini!! Akor-akornya sederhana, tapi tetap istimewa. Bikinan JJ umma gitu. Lagu ini ditampilkan di worldwide concert di Seoul tanggal 27-28 November kemaren. Selain “Nine”, ada lagu-lagu laen yang juga dibikin sendiri ama Jaejoong, Yoochun, dan Junsu.  ”Mission” tuh contohnya. Mantap! Buah karya Junsu-sama. Blum nemu liriknya. Pengen tau tu lagu tentang paan.

Pokoknya gw dukung JYJ! HOMIN jugak! Moga mereka makin sukses dan senang menjalani musik mereka.

I Can Soar?

Heh, grammarnya salah tu!  Harusnya ‘Can I soar?’ , kan ini kalimat interogative!!

Haha. Ga perlu dibahas. Bukan mau ngomongin materi bahasa inggris! Gw cuma mau nyampein opini dan kesan gw pada sebuah lagu berjudul I Can Soar *tanpa tanda interogatif*, salah satu track dalam album teranyar JYJ (Junsu, Yuchun, Jaejoong) The Beginning yang full berbahasa inggris. JYJ inidulunya merupakan personil boy band korea *yang amat sangat terkenal, terlalu sukses, lagunya keren-keren, semua personilnya suaranya bagus, ada: jaejoong XD junsu!! yuchun yunho changmin!!!!* DBSK/Tohoshinki/TVXQ. Mereka membentuk grup sub unit baru setelah memutuskan keluar dari SM, agensi yang menaungi mereka bertahun-tahun sebelumnya. *Gw ga mau ngomongin masalah yg ini itu antara JYJ dan SM, sumpah pusing!*

Nah, dari semua track yg ada di The Beginning, I Can Soar ini adalah favorit gw. Lagu ini dibawakan dengan indahnya oleh Junsu. Pertama kali denger langsung kepincut ama bagian bait awal, yang bisa membuat gw betah ndengerin lanjutannya, ga kaya’ waktu ndengerin Ayy Girl *maaf ya abang Kanye West, tapi gw bener2 kecewa ama lu! JYJ dikasi lagu begituan doang! Masa’ seorang produser musik berkaliber internasional kaya lu cuma bisa bikin yang kaya’ gitu. Masa’ iya lu berpikiran bahwa papun lagu yang lu bikin buat JYJ pasti bakal laku karena JYJ adalah “boyband” yang fansnya bakal rela beli apapun yang JYJ keluarin. Hei, kita fans perlu musik yang bagus juga!!*. Ah.. disini kan gw mau memuji-muji Junsu aja, lupakan kekesalan dan kekecewaan itu! Junsu itu penyanyi idol yang suaranya bagus, punya suatu khas, ga lebai, ga dibikin-bikin *suara dia ngomong biasa aja udah bagus!*,  trus yang paling penting dia membawakan lagu dengan “rasa”. Ya, penghayatannya pada sebuah lagu itu luar biasa! Kita bisa rasakan sesuatu yang beda saat liat Junsu nyanyi, dia bener-bener “membawakan” lagunya. I Can Soar ini juga. Salah satu lagi alasan gw suka ni lagu karena penghayatannya Junsu! Coba dengerin dulu deh.

Why am I leaning more towards Junsu these days? He has a gorgeous voice, yeah, and starring inMozart! sure helped his technique, as if he needed any more. I’ve always liked Jaejoong better, but I Can Soar is gorgeous. There are points where it gets a little cheesy and generic, but as a whole it’s a yes from me. It’s not stunning or anything, but the simplicity of it all is what I’ve been looking for from the beginning of the album. “I Can Soar” sounds like a song I would listen to while drinking coffee… well when it started. As it went, it sounded like a song I would listen to after a break-up. The voices are quite powerful. This song is also composed by JunSu and is very very good. The song picks up rhythm and it goes far beyond the skies. I like it. A good song to check out. The background voices are very beautiful. Great job JunSu!

Secara garis besar, gw setuju ama dua review ini!

Mengenai kesan, gw jadi makin ngefans ama Junsu! Dia sendiri yang mengkomposisi lagu ini *walau tentu untuk urusan lirik diserahin ke orang laen*, lagu yang bisa bikin gw sebagai pendengar musik seneng dan nikmatin banget buat ndengerin. Dan saat lagu ada di lirik “I’m free to fly” dan “I can soar”, ga tau kenapa gw ngerasa adanya  kepuasan, kebebasan, keberanian, juga semangat seorang Junsu yang disampaikan lewat musiknya sekarang. Wah… Keren deh lu, Junsu! SEMANGAT YA JYJ!! HOMIN JUGA!! CEPETAN BALIKAN!!!!!!! *AMIN!*
